Graciela Muñoz García

Graciela Muñoz García is a social anthropologist and holds a doctoral degree in Sociomedical Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Faculty of Medicine. She has more than 20 years of experience in qualitative research, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, publishing industry and public policies in health. She held local government positions focused on public participation and citizenship, served as Deputy Director of Strategic Partnership and Communication for the National Center for Gender Equity and Reproductive Health at the Ministry of Health, and most recently, as researcher for the Human Rights Center at the National Human Rights Commission in Mexico. She collaborated with grassroots civil society organizations, led urban ethnographic fieldwork with street populations and conducted inquiries in medical arbitration institutions. She was awarded membership of the National System of Researchers for the 2025-2028 period for her contributions to sexual and reproductive rights, adolescent pregnancy, reproductive autonomy, institutional violence, and intersectionality in health.
