The Observatory on Safe Abortion is Colmena Consultora’s initiative that includes projects and strategies aimed to guarantee access to safe abortion services in Mexico. The initiative’s online platform is a tool that promotes progressivity in public policy and service provision and strengthens accountability through incidence, advocacy and citizen empowerment.
The HIV Response Network Initiative in Mexico, a collaboration between Colmena Consultoras and Fundación Mexico Vivo, is a project that aims to accelerate progress towards 2030 targets on HIV. As part of the initiative, we developed a platform that highlights multisectoral actions, resources, and progress on the HIV response in Mexico from a public health and human rights perspective.
Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights
The Legal Harmonization Map for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights is a product of Colmena Consultoras. It analyzes public information to identify legal, regulatory, and sociocultural factors that facilitate or hinder access to health services and reproductive autonomy. It serves as a knowledge tool to drive advocacy in legislative, regulatory, and public policy matters.
